Tina Long, Chief Academic Officer

​

Tina Long is Exalt Education's Chief Academic Officer (CAO) in her capacity she supervises principals and oversees the implementation of the academic model.passionate educator and advocate for all children. Prior to joining Exalt Education, Ms. Long served as a School Administrator for Arthur Academies, one of the largest and highest performing charter school networks located in the Pacific Northwest. During her time with the organization, she was responsible for the daily operations of two campuses. She also interviewed and hired new employees, trained, coached and evaluated the teaching staff, and developed curriculum and educational resources.

In 2010, Ms. Long co-founded Knova Learning, a public charter school in Portland, Oregon and a member of the Exalt Education network. She served as the school's principal for two years. During the school's first year, student enrollment was 240 with 80 students on the wait list. Student development was tremendous; In reading, language and mathematics, students achieved, on average, over two times the achievement growth of students nationally as measured by the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP). Knova is currently the highest performing school in the Rockwood community.

During the same timeframe, Ms. Long managed teacher training for all Exalt Education's schools. She developed summer training programs and on-going professional development programs, including systems that ensure teacher effectiveness and preparedness.

In 2012, Ms. Long moved her family to Arkansas to serve as Director of Academic Programs for Exalt Education and work directly with the network's Little Rock Preparatory Academy. During that year, Ms. Long worked with the leadership teams at all three of Little Rock Preparatory Academy's campuses to continually improve the schools with program implementation and support. These schools are making a huge impact on the low-income communities where they are located.

Mrs. Long graduated with a BS in Psychology from Portland State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Warner Pacific University.

Dennis Tiede, Chief Operating Officer

​

Dennis Tiede joined Exalt as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2016 to manage all aspects of human resources and operations, including facilities, food service and transportation. Dennis Tiede started his career working as an assistant trader on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. That experience motivated him to move into the social sector where he has worked for the past 15 years. For five of those years, he was the business manager of a high-performing network of several charter schools in Portland, Oregon called the Arthur Academies.

Before joining Exalt as chief operating officer, Mr. Tiede spent a year at a high performing charter management organization in Boston. This experience reinforced his belief in the importance of Exalt’s unique mission and values. He holds a BA from CUNY Hunter College of New York and is married with two children.

Darryle Hinton, Principal

​

Darryle Hinton serves as the Principal for Exalt Academy. Darryle K. Hinton is in his 2nd year as Principal of EASW. He has been in education for more than 30 years and is very happy to be a part of the team at EASW. Mr. Hinton holds an undergraduate degree from Arkansas Baptist College, and a graduate degree from Grand Canyon University. Additional studies were also done at UALR, Philander Smith College and Oral Roberts University. Mr. Hinton is excited about the great things that are happening at EASW and is excited to work with the amazing students and staff at EASW.

Linda Mooney, Directer of Finance

​

Linda Mooney joined Exalt in September of 2018 as Director of Finance to manage all things finance and compliance for the school. Linda Mooney began her extensive accounting experience as Senior Staff Accountant with Fairfield Communities (Wyndham Vacation Resorts). She then went on to be a staff accountant and internal audit for 15 years at Saline Memorial Hospital. Overall, Linda Mooney has 20 plus years of financial accounting and budget preparation experience. Linda now has four children. She has lived in many parts of the country and now resides in Jacksonville, AR.
